Just to note, fi you do decide to work on your game, you should probably choose a new name; not only does Prowlers & Paragons exist, but also Paragons The Roleplaying Game.

Yeah, I'm aware. There's even a reasonably well-known setting for M&M call Paragons. It's just a working title for me, and it's vastly superior to what came before it: HAPCC.

Some history:

All my ideas around supers games, campaigns and settings are rooted in work I started in 1994 after playing Champions for the first time in 1993.

HAPCC the setting and the game took shape in 1995 as "Harrigan's Astounding PBeM Champions Campaign" -- which later changed to "Harrigan's Astounding PBeM Comicbook Campaign" when I switched the system to Silver Age Sentinels, then M&M. Then, as I shifted into play-by-post play (vs. play-by-email), I decided to change the name entirely and use the name of the setting's Superman analog: Paragon.

Really, I think I should do an issue on this old stuff, as I commissioned tons of art and (with some really talented players) told some pretty grand supers stories.

Anyway -- good advice and thanks for reading and writing! =]

Thanks for sharing and providing the extra background! I wouldn't mind a dedicated write-up on your thoughts or ranking of sorts for the various supers games.

Cool idea. It's a broad class of games with an enormous amount of content to cover, but it's also a favorite genre of mine. I'll put some thought towards the best way I can shed some light on the subjects I think are interesting...
